Do we want a water park on the foreshore at Cleveland or someone else in Redland City?
Or perhaps a jetty could be included in the plans for Toondah Harbour.
What can Cleveland learn from other towns and cities who have developed their foreshores?
What is the best combination for public and private use?
These are the questions that need to be answered in the current debate over Toondah Harbour.
The problem so far has been that the government’s proposal has been locked in planning-speak rather than specific ideas that Redland people can relate to.
There has been too much talk about what shouldn’t be done rather than what could be done.
Redland City has foreshores that the whole of community could enjoy.
