BREAM are dominating catches in all estuary waters.
In the Broadwater they are on the bite around the north wall of Wave Break Island on the tide change and the Deep Hole at the channel junction to the north just before Crab Island.
At the Pin the top spots are either side of Short Island, Kalinga Bank, eastern tip of Crusoe Island.
In Moreton Bay, land-based anglers are getting good catches around Wellington Point and King Island at night, the entrance to Raby Bay canals, Point Halloran on the edge of the channel.
Snapper are still in good numbers at Harry's and Scarborough Reef is still producing fish to 60cm.
In the southern bay they have been caught on the eastern side of Coochie, tip of Macleay and at the Saltworks off the southern end.
There are still good catches of squid in the southern bay off the jetties at night for those land-based and over seagrass beds for those in boats.
There have been good numbers of tuna in the northern bay, but we're not seeing them any further south than the Rous Channel. Most of the action has been in ''the Paddock'' and channels off Bribie.
Some big mulloway have been caught on the artificial reefs throughout the bay.
There have been great catches of diver whiting in the bay.
Top spots include the Amity and Naval Reserve banks outside the green zones, northern side of the Brisbane River mouth to Kedron Brook and any of the sandbanks on the western side of Moreton Island.
There were also good catches in the southern Bay on the Pelican and Banana banks and further south to the Power Lines.
Top baits include worms, squid strips and heart or liver sliced thin to look like a worm.
There were not many reports from offshore this week; those who did get out caught pan size snapper in the shallows and there has been a great run of cobia on all the bait grounds, wrecks and reefs, particularly north of Cape Moreton.
There is still a lot of mulloway on the shallow reefs, especially close to bar entrances.
