REDLAND City Bulletin has brought home a swag of awards from the Queensland Country Press Association’s Newspaper Awards.
Bulletin reporter Stephen Jeffery was named Young Journalist of the Year for his coverage of the North Stradbroke Island bushfires in January.
The sales team won the Best Locally Produced Advertising Campaign award for “Sheldon College open day”, tied third with the Jimboomba Times for Best Community Promotion and came second for Special Publication.
Former Whitsunday Coast Guardian owner Peter Lewis was honoured with life membership to the Queensland CPA during the awards ceremony in Brisbane on Saturday night.
