Capalaba Football Club kicked off its first ever competitive game in the Brisbane Womens Premier League yesterday with a convincing 4-2 victory over University of Queensland on Sunday Fredericks Park on Sunday.
The newly formed team have strong aspirations of being a highly competitive team who play an attractive style of football.
Capalaba BWPL play away at Mitchelton this weekend and the next home game is against Souths United Sunday April 12 for a 4.30pm kick off.
Capalaba's Gabrielle Hein, with her distinctive red hair was to hot to handle for the UQ defence and was rewarded with a hat trick of goals .
