Redlands’ year 12 students have joined their peers across the state in walking out through the school gates for the last time after attending graduation ceremonies on Friday.
Acting Education Minister Grace Grace farewelled students, wishing them all the best.
She said about 50,000 year 12 students had attended their last day of high school.
“I congratulate them on their efforts and achievements and thank the teachers, school staff, parents and carers for their commitment to education and their support of today’s graduates,” she said.
“I thank the class of 2016 for their leadership and the positive example they continue to set for all high school students.”
Year 12 results and OPs will be published in student learning accounts on Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority’s Student Connect website from 9am on Saturday, December 17 at studentconnect.qcaa.qld.edu.au.
Certificates will start arriving in the mail from Monday, December 19.
