PLACES are available for school leavers with a disability to learn independent living skills through the Blue Tongue Adventure service offered by Tea-Cup Cottage.
Tea-Cup Cottage founder Alex Shaw said the day service for young adults up to the age of 25 was an ideal program for school leavers with a disability.
”This year, we’ll be running sessions on fitness, music, and creative arts; supporting the young adults to gain valuable employment skills and helping them to manage their own health and wellbeing,” Ms Shaw said.
“It’s an ideal program for school leavers with a disability, giving them an opportunity to improve their social participation as well as their confidence in a supportive environment.”
The service runs Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm.
