A 28-YEAR-OLD man has pleaded guilty to charges relating to a hit-and-run crash in which a rollerblader was injured at Ormiston in October.
Colin Michael Shesgreen, of Ormiston, was sentenced to two years imprisonment for dangerous driving, six months for failure to remain at the scene of a crash and three months for unlicenced driving.
The sentences are to run concurrently.
Professional rollerblader Rob Kellett was skating on a 40km/h zoned street when he was hit by a car driven by Shesgreen.
The driver was also disqualified from driving for four years and six months.
He was sentenced in the Wynnum Magistrates Court on February 3.
Mr Kellett dislocated his shoulder, chipped a piece of bone in his arm and had severe cuts on his knee and elbow.
