A REPORT and resources on how to enhance participation opportunities for those with disabilities in the Redlands will soon be released.
It follows the My Community Our Way (MCOW) Community Conversation seminar, which was held at the Redlands Performing Arts Centre earlier this month.
About 75 people attended the conversation on April 12 to brainstorm gaps and opportunities faced by those with disabilities, with the information now being collated into a report.
The event was organised by Redlands woman Chris Baggerly and STAR Community Services ahead of next year’s NDIS roll-out across the Redlands.
STAR Community Services general manager Patsy Wilshire said she was pleased with the turn-out.
“The MCOW team has facilitated the event very efficiently and collected a lot of useful information from the participants,” she said.
