BRUSHSTROKES by students at Sheldon College have helped bring mythical creatures, narratives and folk tales to life.
The creative talents of pupils were all on show as part of this year’s Australian School of the Arts (ASTA) visual arts exhibition, which was held last Wednesday, June 14.
A school spokeswoman said pieces by children and teenagers in the junior art workshops, middle college visual arts studios and the senior ASTA Professionals program were all exhibited.
But the artwork was not the only display of talent, with orations delivered by prefect Tara Alcorn and Dominik Kregar.
The spokeswoman said the duo not only talked about the link between art and story, but also the importance of celebrating art within life.
