Coochie Art group is holding its annual art show at the Redland Performing Arts Centre foyer from August 12 to 26.
Members of the public are invited to view the works and cast a vote for the People’s Choice award. Visitors are also able to purchase tickets in the raffle of a painting entitled Tranquil Waters by master pastelist Terry Wilkinson. Ms Wilkinson is both a tutor and a member of the group.
There will also be a range of hand painted cards for sale.
The category winners will be announced at opening night at 6.30pm on August 11. This year’s judge is Sandra Temple, an award winning artist from the Queensland Wildlife Art Society Inc. Prize sponsors include Bendigo Bank Victoria Point, Oxlades Redland Art Supplies, Cleveland Office Supplies and local members and councillors.
The show is open from 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 1pm on Saturdays.
