LAST weekend Cleveland District State High U17s girls volleyball team took out the gold medal in the Schools Volleyball Cup at Cornubia, Logan.
Spokeswoman Belinda Anderson said the team, that included two international students, won every game on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and were amazing to watch.
They also won the grand final against Citipointe with ease.
“The girls have worked extremely well together,” she said.
“(It was a) great effort also from the coaches Megan Fairbairn and Brad Merson.”
