EATING popcorn and watching movies helped children at Capalaba Kids Early Learning Centre raise about $500 for kids in foster care.
Centre director Tegan Holley said the money was raised late last month for the The Pyjama Foundation through a sleep over.
The Pyjama Foundation recruits volunteers to read books to and play educational games with foster care children.
Homework help is also provided through the foundation.
“We had 21 children sleep over and raised $509 for The Pyjama Foundation,” Ms Holley said.
“At the sleep over we all had our favourite pyjama’s on and bought our favourite blankets from home as we slept next to our best friends.”
