VICTORIA Point Shopping Centre was transformed into a scene of colour and fun on Saturday when a record crowd of almost 14,000 people turned out to enjoy the centre’s annual Family Fun Day.
The event began at 10am with a vast range of activities both inside and outside the centre.
The free event featured face painting, dance and juggling demonstrations on stage, craft activities, carnival rides and much more.
Victoria Point Shopping Centre marketing manager Evan Jamieson said the centre was delighted to once again host the popular event.
“It’s an annual event and we love to do this, especially for those who can’t get to the Ekka,” Mr Jamieson said.
“It has such a loyal following and it’s great to see the smiles on everyone’s faces.”
