Singer songwriter Aislinn Sharp has joined forces with beat boxer Joel Turner to present a new song The Wall.
The pair are well known locally, Ms Sharp for founding her not-for-profit music organisation Sounds Original and Mr Turner for his chart-topper These Kids and his past collaborations with Network Ten as Australian Idol finalist at the Sydney Opera House.
Released on September 1, The Wall is released with two music videos including a full parkour video, which features running jumps and stunts by BNE Parkour (including twins Brodie and Dylan Pawson who recently featured on Channel 9’s Australian Ninja Warrior).
Ms Sharp's first EP, On the Couch was supported and played on community radio stations across Australia as an AMRAP AirIT unsigned artist. Her fifth single, Alone (Bye, Bye) went #1 on the Triple J Unearthed chart.
Ms Sharp is currently recording her first album, On the Cusp, which includes The Wall.
“I am excited about sharing my music with new audiences, and connecting with supporters both locally in Australia and internationally,” she said.
Ms Sharp said she aspired to record and collaborate with UK electronic soul group, Rudimental.
