TWO 16-year-old boys were assaulted and robbed of a wallet during a festival at Cleveland Showgrounds on Saturday, September 9.
A police spokesperson said the boys were approached by two people, described as being about 18 and 15 years old, who instigated an argument.
The incident occurred about 9.30pm.
“During the argument, one victim was pushed and the second received a punch to his chest,” the spokesperson said.
The two who had instigated the argument picked up a wallet, belonging to one of the boys, that had fallen on the ground.
Police said one offender was about 18, of slim build, with shoulder length blonde hair parted in the middle. He was wearing a black cap, white long-sleeve top, dark coloured pants and carrying a black shoulder bag.
Police said the second offender was about 15, with an olive complexion and short stocky build. He was wearing a grey jumper.
Police have appealed for anyone who saw the incident or may be able to identify the boys to contact police.
