A MAN has been remanded in custody and a woman charged after a car reported stolen from Hendra was found at Victoria Point.
A Queensland Police Service spokesperson said the pair were arrested at a Sycamore Parade address on Monday, October 9 after the car was spotted there by police.
The spokesperson said police would allege the vehicle was seen being driven dangerously along Vienna Road at Alexandra Hills at 8.20am on Monday, before the car was found at Victoria Point later that day.
The spokesperson said police had not pursued the car.
A 23-year-old Wilsonton man and an 18-year-old Helensvale woman were charged with a string of offences in relation to the matter.
The man was remanded in custody on Tuesday after his case at Cleveland Magistrates Court was adjourned to later this month.
He was charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle, obstruction of police, driving without a driver’s licence, failure to stop, entering premises with intent and two counts of unlawful use of a vehicle.
The woman was charged with obstructing police and possession of dangerous drugs and utensils.
She is set to appear before Cleveland Magistrates Court on November 7.
