Hundreds of volunteers who assist with the running of the Redlasnd Museum attended a Christmas function on December 2.
President Tony Spinks said it had been a busy year for members with membership and volunteer numbers increasing. He said the library rennovations had been completed and was now operational. In 2017, the museum has also participated in the Quandamooka Festival and there has been high teas, dinners, school holiday activities, performances, science days and an inaugural dinner dance held in November.
He also announced a five-year funding agreement with the Redland City Council.
“All of this activitiy and progress just doesn’t happen. It takes hours of hard work and dedication,” he said.
