Savoyards is seeking the perfect people for its first show of the year, I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change.
This hilarious musical looks at love in its various incarnations and is being directed by Gabriella Flowers, with musical direction from Danika Saal and choreography from Desney Toia-Sinapati.
Auditionees are asked to prepare their best effort and not make assumptions about ability. The show requires young and matured ages actors who are asked to prepare a monologue which can be dowloaded on registration. Video clips of the dance section can be viewed online.
The cast is between four and eight people who must be able to speak with a standard American accent. Some performers play multiple characters, aged from 18 to 85.
Private character auditions will be held on Saturday, January 20, be appointment from 9am to 6pm. Two contrasting songs (but not from the show) will be presented and auditionees are invited to bring sheet music as an accompanist is provided.

This light hearted show serves as a light entree for some bigger productions with Savoyards also presenting Les Miserables and Chicago this year., Auditions for Les Miserables are from March 2 to 5 with nine performances scheduled at Iona from June 23 to July 7.
Auditions for Chicago will be held from June 29 to July 2 with six performances scheduled from September 29 to October 13.
