A team from Victoria Point bowls Club will compete against Commonwealth Games players when it plays against Club Helensvale from 5pm on Saturday, March 3.
The Helensvale players include international player of the year for the last three years and World Bowls gold medallist, Aaron Sheriff, former Commonwealth Games bronze medallist and World Bowls gold medallist Nathan Rice and World Bowls gold medallist and Australian Open winner Brett Wilke.
Other players in the Club Helensvale line-up include Commonwealth Games gold medallist Mark Casey, multiple Australian Open wins and Commonwealth and World Bowls Gold medallist Lynsey Clarke and Anthony Kiepe who has played more than 300 representative games for Queensland with multiple State titles.
Australian and Queensland representative Sean Baker, Queensland representative Jamie Nordloff and runner-up in Australian fours championship in 2017 Jade Groenewege are a formidable force on the Victoria Point team.
The game will be the last home game of Premier League at Victoria Point this season.
