A VERY special meeting was held at the gallery last September when member Phil Robinson and vice president Malissa J were happy to accept a cheque for $2150 to assist the gallery facilitate a much-needed project. The Redland RSL also donated a shed to the gallery for more storage space.
Member Phil Robinson was instrumental in the gallery gaining ownership and with the help of a few OSHG members and members of the Men’s Shed ready for its new home. As our Redland City Council liaison officer, Phil was successful with applications for the councillors small grants.
It has been a team effort and we are very close to finishing this project.
