With Redlands Relay For Life looming, locals are being encouraged to register now before the early bird discount ends.
The 2018 community event, held on May 19-20 at Redlands Showgrounds, will bring together teams of friends, families and colleagues to celebrate cancer survivorship, remember loved ones lost and fight back against cancer through raising funds for Cancer Council Queensland.
Locals who flap to get involved before March 31 can register for $20 per person.
Cancer Council Queensland CEO Ms Chris McMillan urged locals to find people and register for the annual event before the incentive ended.
“Everyone is invited to join Redlands Relay For Life and help create a cancer free future,” Ms McMillan said.
“Organised by passionate, local volunteers, Relay For Life is a fun and moving overnight experience that will stay with you forever.
“In addition to the registration discount, the benefit of signing up early is you can start fundraising sooner – the sooner you raise funds, the sooner we can get it to where it’s needed.
“All funds raised by Relay For Life teams are directed into lifesaving cancer research in Queensland, prevention programs, and support services.”
