Eprapah has won the business and community bowls at Victoria Point Bowls club.

The team consists of Steve Cain, Steve Blain, Ayr Blain and Syarra Blain, aged 11.

Business and community bowls is played over four consecutive nights in autumn and spring. It was the brainchild of Rita and Gordon Reid in 2006 in a bid for the community to play bowls competitively.

No bowling experience is necessary and guidance is offered by bowling members. The format is based on the ‘fours’ game but is handicapped, so all teams have an equal opportunity for the nightly prizes and the overall winner.

The recent competition saw 24 teams entered. The next business and community event will be held in August/September. Register on 3207 8540.
