ITEMS relating to animal fighting were seized during a Jimboomba home search last week
Logan District Child Protection and Investigation Unit detectives and uniformed officers from Jimboomba and RSPCA investigators searched a home on April 19.
A Queensland Police Service spokesperson said it would be alleged a number of stolen items were found at the address including a bob cat, two trailers and an unlicensed rifle.
“RSPCA investigators also seized a number of animal and prohibited items relating to animal-fighting,” the spokesperson said.
This follows an investigation into organised dog fighting which led to 56 puppies from four properties across Jimboomba, Redland City and Richmond being seized
Police charged a 29-year-old man with three counts of unlawful possession of a motor vehicle, one count of possessing a utensil, one count of possessing a weapon and one count of possessing explosives.
The man is due to appear at Beenleigh Magistrates Court on May 17, 2018.
