CLEVELAND’s Anzac Day parade and memorial service was given the starting nod by a Super Hornet.
The low-flying RAAF F/A-18F Super Hornet fighter did a flypast over Shore Street before sweeping on east over Moreton Bay.
Veterans, Redlands RSL sub-branch president Alan Harcourt, national servicemen and women, the Redland City Pipe Band, cadets and former navy, army and air force personnel were among those who marched with school students and youth organisations.
Lieutenant Colonel James Phillips from the 2nd Garrison Health Battalion gave the address during the service, while Tom Spirianc played the bagpipes and Josh Sinclair the bugle.
Craig Atkinson sung the Australian and New Zealand national anthems.
