Shane Edwards' high contact on Neville Jetta has cost the Richmond midfielder a $2000 AFL fine.
Match reviewer Michael Christian charged Edwards with rough conduct following the second-quarter incident in the Anzac Eve match.
The Melbourne defender had the ball on the wing when Edwards made high contact.
Demons utility Bernie Vince was charged on the night for striking Tigers defender Brandon Ellis but Christian overturned it.
Christian ruled it was a careless high tackle and the force of the blow was not enough to warrant a striking charge.
Vince's teammate James Harmes was also cleared of an incident where he made high contact with Bachar Houli.
Meanwhile, Lindsay Thomas has a massive self-imposed obstacle to overcome for a senior return, despite his small tribunal win.
The Port Adelaide veteran received a three-week ban in Tuesday night's marathon tribunal hearing for his bump that concussed Geelong midfielder Scott Selwood.
Tribunal advocate Nick Pane QC sought a four-game ban but Thomas' lawyer Ben Krupka successfully argued for three.
Thomas had also accepted a one-game suspension for striking Geelong captain Joel Selwood.
That means a total of four weeks on the sidelines for Thomas, who is 30 and on Port's rookie list this season after 204 games for North Melbourne.
He is out of action at least until Port's round-11 game against Hawthorn in Launceston at the start of June and must come from a long way back to earn a senior recall.
Thomas was a late call-up for last Saturday night's home loss to Geelong, his first game for the Power.
Krupka argued strongly against Thomas receiving a four-week ban for the Selwood bump,.
"Anything more (than three games) has the potential to be crushing to his chances of playing in the AFL again this season," Krupka said.
Thomas did not have to give evidence and apologised through Krupka at the hearing for concussing Scott Selwood.
He was referred directly to the tribunal on a rough conduct charge for the Scott Selwood bump.
While Thomas also accepted his one-game striking ban, Joel Selwood successfully challenged his one-game suspension at the tribunal.
The other case in Tuesday's marathon tribunal session was a one-game ban for fiery Hawthorn defender James Sicily.
Like Thomas, he was referred directly to the tribunal and also pleaded guilty.
Sicily was booked for serious misconduct after he stepped on Shaun Atley while the North Melbourne player was lying on the ground.
