On Saturday the Redlands Muddies took on Riverside in a top of the table clash.
It was a great display of running rugby, with neither team giving an inch, the Muddies came out victorious 32-21.
In front of a vocal home crowd the Muddies were determined to continue their unbeaten streak. In a contest where a small mistake would be capitalised on, the two teams gave it their all.
It was befitting a top of table clash, the set pieces needed to be decisive to enable the backs to attack. With the scrums evenly contested, it was one or two turnovers in the lineouts which turned defence into attack and allowed the Redlands backs to attack out wide.
A few costly mistakes in defence kept Riverside in the game, as they capitalised on the try line.
However continued attacks with ball in hand finally secured the result in the Muddies favour.
This was a great game played in good spirit and now secures the Redlands team top spot on the table.
