NSW photographer, Dan Kirkman from Something Visual has shared an explosive video of a grey nurse shark in hunting mode – right next to the shoreline.
The footage was filmed at Forster’s Main Beach on May 12.
“Probably the coolest thing in nature I've ever had the privilege to witness,” Dan wrote.
While some people have questioned the breed of shark, Dan believes the animal’s double dorsal fins identified it was a grey nurse.
During the past weeks sharks have been spotted close to shore feasting and chasing bait balls in the Mid North Coast region of NSW.
