Tranquil Waters Retirement Living Village recent annual Biggest Morning Tea attracted more than 100.
Guests were shown a fashion parade by Portafino followed by a devonshire tea and a mega raffle.
Coordinator Pamela Murray said she was thrilled with this year’s turnout which raised almost $2120. This brings the fund raising tally for the 11-year event to $14,000.
All money raised goes towards cancer research, prevention, advocacy, and support for patients and their families.
“It is important for people to support these types of events because sadly everyone is effected by cancer at sometime in their life,” Ms Murray said.
Redlands Branch of Qld Cancer Council representatives were also in attendance.
