REDLAND Bay Golf Club has won a top gong in the club reception category in the state’s Australian Bridal Industry Awards.
It is the second consecutive year the club has won the award.
The club was also a finalist in the best ceremony venue, while function co-ordinator Chelsea Morris finished in the top 10 of the best function co-ordinator category.
Redland Bay Golf Club president Don McAlpine said he was delighted the club had been recognised with the award.
“All members and the greater Redland Bay community can be proud of this achievement,” Mr McAlpine said.
General manager Paul Fitzpatrick said the award was recognition of much hard work over the past two years.
“It is an acknowledgement of the hard work put in by club staff and the efforts of club function co-ordinator Chelsea Morris,” he said.
Other award categories recognise wedding venues, photographers, planners and other service providers.
