MACLEAY Island police investigating the theft of fuel and gas need help identifying suspects.
A gas bottle was stolen from the back of High Central Road’s 5 Star Supermarket between Monday, May 21 and Tuesday, May 22.
Fuel was also siphoned from a car parked at Macleay Island ferry parking sometime between 6.30am and 5.15pm on Thursday, May 24.
“Macleay Island police are appealing for any information which may assist with the investigation to the recent stealing offences,” the spokesperson said.
“This is timely reminder to keep a look out for the local community and report anything suspicious to police.”
