The Birkdale State School community will come together from 6pm to 8pm on Friday, June 22 for a market night at its assembly hall.
The event will host a range of interactive market stalls with cake decoration, food sampling, story writing, clothing and tie dye.
Cr Paul Bishop said the school community was actively seeking positive engagement with local businesses and this event invited parents, citizens and the wider community to be part of a safe, fun and positive gathering, for all ages.
Entry is by gold coin donation and interested stall holders can contact parents and citizens president, Tracey Munro via pandc@birkdaless.eq.edu.au
