WORKSHOPS to help girls handle issues like body image, relationships and friends will be conducted at Cleveland next month.
Redlands Centre for Women will run the workshops to suit girls of all ages.
On July 2 and 3 it will hold workshops for girls in years nine and 10 under its # Girl Goals program.
A centre spokeswoman said the course was designed to help those taking part to define their values and understand how they shaped the most important parts of their lives.
This impacted on their choices and decisions at school, home and in the community.
Topics covered include valuing yourself, body image, resilience, equality, friends, healthy relationships, positivity and personal boundaries.
The program is partially funded by Zonta Club of Wynnum and Redlands and McCarthy Durie Lawyers.
It will cost $50 per person which includes morning tea and lunch on both days and all course materials.
The program will run from 9am to 3.30pm at 27 Waterloo Street, Cleveland.
It is open to small group numbers only and confidentiality is assured.
On July 11 (7pm to 9pm), Helen Harrison will take will talk to girls about cutting stress. Admission is $15/$10.
