TWO Piermont Place homes were broken into on Saturday night.
Police said investigations into both incidences continued.
It is understood two cars were stolen from one house on the same night entry was made into another.
Police said a resident had woken up during the break-in at his house and heard footsteps.
He went to the garage after hearing engines start on both his cars. Both cars were then driven away.
Police said the victim chased a third offender but he escaped.
Personal property including a wallet, cards and cash were stolen from the other home.
Police said the residents found their home had been broken into when they woke up on Sunday morning.
