POLICE are investigating two related break-ins at houses at Victoria Point on Monday night.
Bayside District crime prevention co-ordinator Acting Sergeant Brendon Winslow said police and Volunteers in Policing had also delivered crime prevention information to houses in the Victoria Point area.
Acting Sergeant Winslow said the incidents were a timely reminder for people to take precautions like locking doors and windows.
The police have appealed for anyone with information about the break-ins to phone Policelink on 131 444 and quote QP1801255410.
Police advised vehicle owners to lock up and place valuables out of sight.
In homes, windows and doors should be locked, key operated locks or security grills installed on windows and deadlocks put on doors, padlocks used on gates to the backyard and items like keys, wallets and phones put out of sight.
