FAMILIES headed to Victoria Point’s Lakeside precinct for market stalls, children’s activities, entertainment and fireworks on Sunday.
The occasion was the annual winter wonderland event.
Joshua Walker and the Yulu Burri Ba dancers opened the entertainment with a performance on the main stage.
This was followed by the Barrick Dance Centre and a fire and ice show.
Fireworks set off from the lake brought an end to the event.
Children were well provided for with an ocean life education display, bubble fun, sand art, facepainting and activities run by the Redland City libraries team.
The Blue Cats Rockabilly Band also entertained the crowds.
Restaurants provided a good viewing spot for the fireworks and food trucks served up plenty of dishes for the public to enjoy.
