THE Redlands Centre for Women has chosen a winter wonderland theme for their annual trivia night on Saturday, July 28.
People are encouraged to dress in their best winter woolies for the event.
The centre’s Kerri Long said the money raised would fund their projects to help women in the Redlands.
“We receive no government funding so all of the proceeds go straight into the centre to help with our projects and programs such as our young parents program, the teenage drop-in centre and supporting our nurture packs and pink pamper packs,” Ms Long said.
“The centre has been providing a welcoming and safe space for women through our programs which educate, empower and connect women through all walks of life.
“We continue to do so through the support of community through donations and sponsorships... so this is what the funds will go towards.”
Ms Long said prizes to be won at the trivia night included a mini iPad donated by Bendigo Bank.
“We are always really grateful and thankful to all our community supporters.
“We can’t do any of this without them.”
The trivia night will be at 7pm on Saturday, July 28 at Star of the Sea Hall, 53 Passage Street, Cleveland.
Tickets are $15 or $120 for a table of eight.
Ticket sales close on Friday, June 20.
Redlands Centre for Women members will receive a complimentary drink.
