Helen Lowe and Peter Crane come to the Cleveland Uniting Church, Passage Street for a resurgence of the Pleasant Sunday afternoon concert series at 2pm on Sunday, August 12.
The duo will play a selection of music by Handel, Mozart, Faure, Saint Saens and John Rutter.
Ms Lowe, who plays with the Redland Sinfonia, will perform on her recently acquired gold flute, promising a rich tonal lustre to enhance the performance.
Ms Lowe graduated from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music majoring in flute and baroque flute in 1995 and gained a graduate diploma of music studies in instrumental teaching in 2005.
Besides accompanying Ms Lowe on piano, Mr Crane will play the pipe organ at the church where he is organist and choir accompanist.
Mr Crane gained a diploma in piano performance in 1995 at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
Tickets are $20/$15 and are available at the Christian Book Centre, Shop 9, Cleveland Plaza, the church office on 3286 5627 between 9am and1pm and at the door.
Afternoon tea is included and will be served at interval.
