Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, but it is this year's superhero-themed Cleveland Crazy Day sale.
Presented by the Cleveland Village Traders Association and Cleveland Markets, Crazy Day is packed full of bargain shopping, vibrant market stalls featuring arts and crafts, fresh produce, gourmet foods and family-friendly entertainment.
The annual event, which will take place on Ekka Wednesday, August 15, has become a popular fixture on the Redlands community calendar, and draws crowds from near and far.
In keeping with the superhero theme, the Cleveland Village Traders and Stockland will get into the spirit of Crazy Day with sidewalk specials and in-store promotions, and don't forget to keep an eye out for superheroes (young and old) around town.
Getting into the 'spirit' of Crazy Day is The Home Brew Shop, which has some exciting offers to coincide with the event. A one-stop-shop for everything home brewing, it carries beer, wine and spirits equipment from grains to yeast and a very large collection of flavours.
“We have been in the brewing game for over 25 years so we can advise you how to get the best out of your brews,.all with great pricing,” The Home Brew Shop’s Jeff Mckeon said.
Cleveland store Secrets 4 Women has an extensive range of lingerie, swimwear, shapewear, sleepwear and hosiery to suit individual shapes and sizes.
Owner and manager Therese Thorp has more than 40 years’ experience in the industry. She specialises in bra and mastectomy fittings and prides herself on making every woman feel at ease during the fitting process.
Pascoe Jewellers is another local outlet with some exciting specials on Crazy Day and beyond. Established by Geoff and Carolyn Pascoe, and operating in Cleveland since 2003, it stocks diamond, precious stone and branded jewellery and offers watch and jewellery repairs. Their watch sale is on throughout August so take advantage of 30 to 50 per cent off all watches.
