FISHING in the Redlands has yielded great results off Lamb, Macleay and Peel Islands in recent weeks.
Cor Van Reede caught a well sized mulloway at Lamb Rocks, a spot between Lamb and Macleay Island.
Steve and Charles Burfoot were fishing on Wednesday evening, July 25 west of Peel island and caught a few bream and squire as well as a massive jewfish.
All caught by the Burfoots on pilchards burley bomb used to bring the fish on the bite.
Off North Stradbroke Island look for tailor, dart, whiting and bream off all beaches.
At Wellington Point tailor and tuskfish are being caught off the northern end of Green Island.
At Coochiemudlo Island bream, flathead, whiting and small snapper are being caught around the island.
In Moreton Bay waters the main catches are trevally, bream, flathead and mulloway around the southern bay islands. At Wynnum Manly diver whiting has been found in the Rous Channel and off the Sandhills.
School mackerel, snapper and mulloway have been caught at Mud Island.
