The Grand View hotel is hosting a dinner with food writer and presenter Adam Liaw to promote his cook book Destination Flavour at 7pm on September 12.
In the book, Liaw looks at eating while travelling, somethign he says gives us insight into another way of life and another side of our own humanity.
In Destination Flavour, Liaw curates the best recipes and stories from the acclaimed television series, along with dozens of new dishes encountered in his travels.
He gives readers the chance to peek even briefly into the life, or onto the dinner plate, of someone on the other side of the world. Celebrating food, people and places across six chapters, Liaw takes readers to China, Scandinavia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, as well as closer destinations in Australia.
The book features more than 80 authentic and achievable recipes, as well as unique stories of people he has met along the way.
The book features stunning food and travel photography, behind-the-scenes insights into the making of the show and candid moments from the road.
Liaw is host of SBS’s Destination Flavour host and MasterChef winner. The hardcover book retails for $50. It will be for sale at the dinner.
