KINGA Rypinska has hosted her first Russell Island solo exhibition at The Farm.
Rypinska, originally from Poland, presented paintings on canvas and glass.
Shapes of Colour also featured one of her larger than life tapestry art works.
Rypinska moved to Australia in 1993 and from Victoria to Russell Island two years ago.
She uses an ancient painting on glass technique that originated in Europe in the Middle Ages.
Rypinska was a winner in the painting category of the Girt by Sea art competition and well known for brilliant interpretations of bird and animal wildlife.
She hosted a successful exhibition at the Camberwell Art Show earlier this year and has previously hosted numerous exhibitions in Australia and overseas.
The Shapes of Colour exhibition was hosted by Russell Island Community Arts.
