ABOUT 5000 people are expected to attend the Bayside Blues Festival at Capalaba Regional Park on Saturday.
Bands will play in 45 minute sessions from 1pm – starting with Vix and the Slick Chix – until 9pm.
Dale Robbins Band, BB Factory, Dezzie D and the Stingrayz, Blues Arcadia, The Mouldy Lovers, Minnie Marks and The Hipshooters are in the line-up to perform.
Entry to the family-friendly event is free but gold coin donations are welcome and will go to the Rotary Club of Capalaba.
There will be food and market stalls and attendees can take a picnic blanket or camper chairs.
Gates open at midday and there is a licenced area.
Parking is available behind the Capalaba Tavern and in areas adjacent to the Capalaba Soccer Club.
Chairs will be provided for seniors and an area closed to amenities and with a view of the stage has been allocated for people with a disability.
No food, alcohol or domestic animals, excluding guide dogs, can be taken to the festival.
