The Moreton Bay View Club of Wellington Point have made a donation to the Vienna Woods Primary School at Alexandra Hills to support The Smith Family program After School Learning Club.
The stationery, books and equipment along with craft supplies, were very much needed by the volunteers and the students who attend the after school class.
Moreton Bay View Club and all View Clubs support The Smith Family program education for life program which aims to assist Australian children, with families who are experiencing financial hardship, to ensure they receive a complete education.
Organiser Suzanne Gair said the Moreton Bay View Club was also a friendship club for women of all ages and backgrounds.
“We have our lunch meeting on the second Thursday of every month with lots of fun and laughter,” she said.
“We have monthly outings and coffee mornings.
