John Farnham continues to attract sell out audiences with day on the green at Mount Cotton sold out to more than 12,000 fans.
Farnham performs at Sirromet on Sunday, December 2 with guests Daryl Braithwaite, Richard Marx, Russell Morris and Bachelor Girl. Drivers using Mount Cotton Road around the performance are advised that road conditions will be slowed. Gates open at 1.30pm with Farnham to perform at 8pm.
Farnham will perform songs from Whispering Jack, one of his and Australia’s most successful albums.
Manager Glenn Wheatley said Farnham particularly enjoyed performing outdoors.
“The environment and the audiences are always great. And he loves performing the Whispering Jack songs,” Wheatley said.
Roundhouse Entertainment Promoter Michael Newton said the album was a testament to Farnham’s career.
Released in 1986, Whispering Jack was the first local album to sell more than one million copies, holding number one position on the charts for 25 weeks and selling 24 times Platinum.
It remains the highest selling Australian album of all time by an Australian artist with more than 1.7 million sales.
The 19-time ARIA Award winner has had hits in six decades and in 2013 was voted Australia’s greatest singer of all time.
Joining him is another Aussie music legend Daryl Braithwaite.

Grammy Award winner Richard Marx is a prolific singer, songwriter and producer with more than 30 million album sales over 30 years.
Also on stage will be Russell Morris, whose early pop hits include The Real Thing, The Girl That I Love, Sweet Sweet Love and Wings of an Eagle.
Twenty years since the release of their double-Platinum hit single Buses and Trains and their ARIA award-winning debut album Waiting For The Day, Tania Doko and James Roche of Bachelor Girl have re-formed to mark their 20th anniversary.
