TRADIES are invited to down tools for a free barbecue breakfast put on by TAFE Queensland.
The event is being hosted at TAFE Queensland’s Alexandra Hills campus training centre from Thursday, November 1 from 7am to 9am
A TAFE spokesperson said diners could listen to a Makita trade safety demonstration about dust and exhaust containment and learn about the dangers of silicosis.
Tradies could also network with local businesses, find out about apprenticeship training and talk with tool suppliers and other industry representatives.
Business owners are also invited to exhibit their services for free at the breakfast.
For information or to register for the event, contact Nick Stewart on 0423 920 014 or Bill Alexion on 0418 543 717.
