November’s exhibition at the Old Schoolhouse Gallery, Cleveland Point is Naturally Redlands.
It features works by local artists, linocut printer Natasha Scott, photographer Mike Scott and guest artist, leather worker, Troy Porter.
Artworks are inspired by Redlands’ natural environment, places right on our doorstep.
Mike has been working as a professional photographer from his Wellington Point studio since 2003.
For this exhibition, he has produced a series of seascapes taken along the Redlands Coast and the spectacular coastlines of the Moreton Bay Islands.
His quality prints are presented fully framed and mounted on matt-board.
Natasha produces linocuts in a time-honored style harking back to traditional woodcut which are printed on Japanese Kozo paper.
Each is professionally produced as quality is paramount in her art.
She also applies her work to fabric, canvas, t-shirts and cards.
Troy Porter from Porter’s Saddles at Birkdale is known for his high-quality bespoke leather saddles.
This exhibition highlights his premium leather bags, purses, wallets and other items, all ideal Christmas gifts.
