The Salvation Army is showing off the Redlands’ finest cars in a day out for all ages.
From early classics to American muscle cars and decked-out modern vehicles, the Salvos are putting the community's cars on show on Saturday 10 November.
Event organiser Wayne Krueger said the alcohol free event will be a fun day out for the whole family.
“We’re hosting (the event) to bring the community together, and provide the opportunity for people to spend a relaxed afternoon in a safe environment,” he said.
Supported by Capalaba vehicle restoration organisation Shed 27, the event will also feature pedal cars, live music, and food and drink.
Salvation Army emergency services trucks will also be on show.
“We’re also giving out awards for the People’s Choice car, and the Shed 27 Best Overall Car,” Mr Krueger said.
The Salvation Army Car Show will be held on Saturday 10 November from 4pm until 7pm at the Salvation Army Bayside Community Church in Alexandra Hills.
People wishing to register to show their car at the event should contact Wayne Krueger on 0484 332 974, or at wayne.krueger@bigpond.com.
