REDLAND City Lions Club volunteers have almost finished works to freshen up a stillborn baby memorial at Redland Hospital.
Club spokesman George Type said members revamped decking and benches there on the weekend, with old latticework also replaced.
“We have finished the cleaning, the staining, the painting and the installation of the new lattice,” he said.
“Just a few odds and ends to tidy up to complete the job.”
The garden was set up at the hospital by the Redlands Lions Club almost two decades ago for parents of stillborn babies.
Care was taken by volunteers to not disturb precious memorials there.
Mr Type said donations were needed to help the group recoup costs for the repair works.
