The last exhibition for the year at the Old School House Gallery has all members displaying artworks with a theme close to everyone’s heart, Summer Holidays. As part of the exhibition there will be a collaborative piece where members have created or decorated the quintessential summer footwear – the thong. The gallery will also have a pop-up gift shop, perfect for that Christmas gift. The Summer Holidays exhibition will open with drinks and nibbles on the verandah from 4.30pm, Saturday December 8.
The gallery will host a mini market and art demonstrations on December 1, to coincide with the Bayside Woodworkers Annual Art in Wood Exhibition who will be displaying at the Lions Club next door to the Gallery. Another great opportunity to come along and see fine art and get some Christmas shopping done.
The gallery will have extended opening hours in the lead up to Christmas, opening from 9.30am to 4.30pm Monday December 17 through to Sunday 23 December 23, our last day for the year.
The gallery will be closed over Christmas and New Year. Thank you for your support and patronage during 2018 we look forward to seeing you next year when we reopen on Friday January 11.
Our opening hours are Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9.30am to 4.30pm. Entry is free and there is off-street parking and wheelchair access. The Old Schoolhouse Gallery is at 124-126 Shore Street North, Cleveland Point.
