A LOCAL real estate agency and Rotary hope to shine a ray of light for the needy this Christmas.
Ray White Victoria Point will partner with Rotary to continue its “a little ray of giving”.
The campaign will help disadvantaged people who may need a little extra light in their festive season.
Principal Michelle Cattran said the Victoria Point team was asking locals to embrace the giving season and dig deep for children who needed it most.
“When you see our Christmas tree go up, we urge everyone who is able to bring in a gift for those families who are less fortunate,” Ms Cattran said.
“All you need to do is drop your unwrapped present under the tree in our office reception.”
She said the gift drive was a simple way of helping put a smile on the face of anyone who might need some extra cheer at this time of year.
The office at 1/127 Colburn Avenue will have their giving tree in the front window of the store and will collect gifts from now until December 20.
“It’s a really simple way to put a smile on the face of someone who might otherwise go without this Christmas,” Ms Cattran said.
The charity work has been run by Ray White across Australia and New Zealand for the past six years.
Last year more than 300 offices helped raise 30,000 gifts for disadvantaged families.
